Tiger Athletics
Participation in team and individual sports not only promotes a feeling of belonging but also allows students to develop themselves physically and emotionally. Students gain strength and teamwork and leadership skills while learning the art of good sportsmanship and fair play.
Stockton Schools are proud members of the Northern Plains League, a part of the Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA).

Student Eligibility
Student-athletes at Stockton Schools must meet certain academic and behavioral criteria to participate in our sports programs. They must
- not receive failing cumulative grades in two classes;
- Grades are pulled every Monday at 8:00 a.m. If any student is failing two or more classes at that time, that student will be ineligible for play through Saturday (and any subsequent weeks) until their grades are raised.
- maintain good attendance;
- Students must be in attendance for at least four hours of the school day on competition/ practice days to participate that day. Only under extreme circumstances can coaches adjust this policy.
- Students must attend school the day following school-sponsored weeknight activities. Repeatedly missing school after evening activities may result in a student’s eligibility being revoked.
- pass a yearly physical exam;
- care for/return all uniforms and equipment checked out to them for that season.
- Students will be charged for any equipment not returned to the school, and will not be allowed to participate in another sport until all obligations are met.
