Nominate a USD 271 Teacher!
The nominating process is under way to give 10 Kansas teachers $1,000 each in celebration of National Teacher Appreciation Week.
The promotion was announced by Kansas State Treasurer Lynn Rogers. “Kansas teachers have worked tirelessly to overcome the countless challenges they have encountered over the past year, and I thought they deserved a little extra recognition this National Teacher Appreciation Week," said Rogers.
National Teacher Appreciation Week runs from May 3-7. Beginning this week people are invited to nominate a Kansas teacher for the $1,000 award by using this online form. The deadline to nominate a teacher is noon this Friday (April 30).
