Our new school photographer, Julie Kuhlmann Photography, offers spring portraits. This is a new offering for us. She will be here on Tuesday, March 2nd, to take the portraits.
Each student will have two portraits taken. Approximately one week later, order sheets will be sent home with each child and parents/caregivers will have the opportunity to purchase.

Friday Update
Rooks County continues to see a decrease in new COVID-19 cases throughout the county. This week the absenteeism rate is at 0.8% above the baseline from 2019-2020. The positive testing rate is at 13.0% this week. Rooks County continues to receive weekly allocations of the COVID-19 vaccine and will follow the Kansas Vaccination Phases. Rooks County is currently in Phase 2. If you are interested in getting on the list to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, please call the health department or your primary care physician.
School districts will continue in-person for the week of March 1-5, 2021. If there is any adjustment required to the learning setting due to concerns in the schools, we will update your family quickly following a decision. Thank you for everything you are doing to keep our students in school and our community in a healthy place.

Tiger Fans - we have some extra spectators tickets available to get into the game tonight, you must call the SHS office by 4:00 pm to reserve your ticket. Admission price is $7.00. Game Time is 7:00 pm
Tiger Fans: If you would like to go watch our Lady Tigers play tomorrow night, Thursday, 2/25/21 in the quarterfinal sub-state basketball game at Rock Hill/Mankato at 7:00 pm. We have extra vouchers, you may get them from the SHS office from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. You must have a voucher to get in and then pay admission of $7.00

Since 2016, the Heartland Community Foundation has granted more than $68,000 to USD 271 to support Stockton Schools. February is Twice as Nice. All donations to the Rooks County Legacy Fund will be matched $ for $! The SGS and SHS offices will accept donations through next Monday, February 23rd.
