As the class of 2025 wrapped up their final requirements for graduation, they made their way to SGS, where it all started for many of them! We love this tradition of celebrating with the graduating class! We wish you the very best! Go Tigers! It was another great day to be a Tiger!

USD #271’s cafeteria was transformed into a Living Wax Museum on Wednesday, May 7. Mr. Bennett’s 3rd graders brought Monsier Bennett’s Wax Museum to life as they presented their well-researched speech about a famous person. A wide range of famous individuals were presented to a large audience of parents, grandparents, and other community members. #TigerPride271

Each year, our 5th and 6th graders embark on an exciting journey to Young AmeriTowne in Lenora, KS—a dynamic, hands-on program that brings economics and civics to life. After completing a in-class curriculum covering topics like banking, budgeting, entrepreneurship, and government, students step into real-world roles such as bank tellers, doctors, and business managers. They earn paychecks, manage budgets, and even run for public office, gaining invaluable insights into personal finance and community responsibility. There’s only one first… and Ashlyn was ours.
She made history as Stockton’s first-ever girls’ state wrestling champion—and she did it undefeated. Since then, she’s continued to accomplish even more in the wrestling world, but being the first will always stand as a powerful milestone.
