On Tuesday several of our classes has the opportunity to watch a live-streamed conversation with Ruby Bridges. This was another amazing learning opportunity for our students. #TigerPride271







Region 1 Teacher of the Year 2025 Team visited the district of Stockton Schools. The teachers read with students, visited classrooms, and had the opportunity to talk with teachers. Our Annual Veterans Day Celebration is always a very special event for our school. Our guest speakers this year were two of our very own, Dr. Angela McCollum and Dr. Anthony Cole.
We are honored to have the freedoms that allow us to thank our Veterans for their service with music, flag folding, and special readings.

Our fifth graders have completed the DARE program with Officer Ramirez.!
D.A.R.E. lesson plans focus on 4 major areas:
*Giving students ideas for positive alternatives to drug use.
*Providing accurate information about drugs, alcohol, prescription drug use, tobacco, peer pressure, bullying, stress and internet safety.
*Showing students how to recognize and resist peer pressure and how to choose the right friends.
*Teaching students good decision-making skills.

On November 5, SHS government students were able to visit the election poll site in Rooks County. Three students were first-time voters!
