The 5th Grade DARE classes in Rooks County celebrated their course completion on Tuesday with a picnic at the Stockton City Park! Thank you to our DARE instructor, Officer Hovis, and to the Rooks County Sherrif's Dept. for lunch! #TigerPride271

We are excited to announce that USD 271 will have a summer learning program for our K-8 students. More details coming soon to the families that signed up!
The high school math department is also planning on summer learning opportunities. More information is coming!

FCA is hosting a Baccalaureate for the SHS Graduating Class of 2024 at the Nova on Wednesday, May 8th at 7:00 pm. Fusion will provide refreshments following in the foyer. Please join us in celebrating our Graduates. The public is welcome to attend.

Stockton Grade School students spent the morning with AMAZING author, Jefferson Knapp. What an inspiration, and his props were phenomenal! His message: use your imagination and find what you want to do in life and do it! Jefferson is a Kansas author with an incredible 6 book series called The Kingdom at the End of the Driveway. What an opportunity for our students to hear his message and to buy his books. #TigerPride271

BOARD TO INTERVIEW SUPERINTENDENT-HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL CANDIDATE

Dr. Angela McCollum will be interviewing for the position of Superintendent-High School Principal with the Board of Education on May 2, 2024. Dr. McCollum was selected to interview based on her fit with desired characteristics that were developed with input from focus groups and an online community survey utilized during the search process.
Dr. McCollum is currently serving as Asst. Director and Early Childhood in Dodge City, KS. Previously Dr. McCollum held a position with Wichita Public Schools for 12 years, serving in several positions.
