Our first graders have been working hard learning about fossils and dinosaurs. They went to the Sternberg Museum to continue their learning! They took a guided tour with the museum’s paleontologist, Ian, to look at and learn about the fossils the museum has, as well as Alicia, the museum’s naturalist, who talked about the reptiles in the museum that she takes care of. Students got the chance to hold or pet small snakes that Alicia brought out, which was a huge excitement for most of the kids! We love giving our students fun and exciting opportunities to continue their learning! #itsagreatdaytobeatiger #TigerPride271

Volunteering teaches kids the importance
of giving back to their communities. It also
helps them grow as people, build strong self-esteem, develop social and life skills, and show appreciation. Families can use these kid-friendly
volunteer ideas to encourage their children to
make a difference in their community and help
them cultivate compassion, empathy, and a
passion for helping others. @naesp #TigerPride271
