The SHS Seniors visited the Lecompton Historic Museum and the Dole Institute to learn about the origins of our Kansas government and the impact citizens can make in their government.



On March 8th our 3rd and 4th graders attended the Rooks County Ag Safety Event at the Rooks County Fairgrounds.
We attended sessions about electrical safety, vaping, EMS/fire safety, firearm safety, poison safety, seatbelts and texting, and ATV safety.





Our Stockton Public Librarian, Chris Sander, was our opening book reader to kick off Seuss Week for PreK-2!
Each day the classes will have a dress up theme and engaging activities with a book! Tuesday was “hat” day for Cat in the Hat! Thank you Chris! #TigerPride271

Stockton students presented their business plans at the Rooks County Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. Several students earned awards for their efforts. Addie Struckhoff - Ready To Go Award, Cason Iwanski - Best Use of Technology Award, Bodye Stithem - Growing Kansas Ag Award, Team of Dalton Ard, Treyvin Horn, & Kolt Kuhlmann - Ready To Go Award, Team of Skyler Turnbull & Calder Elmer - Bring It To You Award, Team of Jada Martin, Aiyden Kerr, & Kaley Jones - Ready To Go Award

The Tiger Ambush Powerlifting Team finished strong at the Trego Golden Eagle Powerlifting meet. There were 25 teams with a total of 270 athletes competing today. The Tiger team came away with three medalists: Ava Dix 2nd in Squat lifting 255lbs, Trent Becker 2nd in clean with a lift of 195lbs and 3rd in bench for 170lbs, and Cason Iwanski coming home with medals in all three events. He took 1st in clean at 240lbs, 2nd in bench at 215lbs, and 3rd in squat lifting 350 lbs. Ava was 5th overall for her weight class with at total of 500 lbs, Trent 4th overall with a total of 610lbs, and Cason took 2nd place overall for his weight class lifting a total of 805lbs.
The Team also had 8 personal records today! It was a great day to be a Tiger! 🐅 🥇

We are excited to be able to offer a viewing of the documentary "If They Had Known" to Rooks County and surrounding Communities. Please join us to bring awareness and spark a discussion around the toxic risks of recreationally mixing prescription drugs with alcohol. After a community viewing we will share this documentary with our high schoolers. Nova Theater - March 27, 2023 @ 6:30. We will see you there.

There will be a Pep bus going to Girls State Wrestling on Wednesday 2/22/23 in Salina. We will be loading at the high school at 6:15 am.
Students must have passing grades and all assignments turned in. Please let Mrs. Basart know by 3:00pm 2/20 if your student would like to ride the bus so we can get a head count.
