Our SGS Kindergarten class has been learning about kindness and how we as kindergartners can show kindness to others in our school and community. We have also been working hard to learn the writing and illustrating process of a book and would like to publish our very own kindness book sharing ways we show kindness to others. We would like to provide each student with a copy to share with their families. Your donations will allow each student to have a copy of the book at low to no cost. You can sponsor a book for one child for $33, or provide a donation towards our class goal of $462. Please contact the SGS office, 785-425-6120, if you'd like to support this project. Thank you!
Today the 8th Grade Science students were learning to use calipers to find the density of unknowns.

We would like to thank everyone that came out yesterday to watch the documentary, "If They Had Known." And a special shout out to the Rooks County Sheriff's Department for being there to help with the ending discussion. If you missed it yesterday Palco and Plainville will be showing it tonight and Wednesday. We hope to see you there!
