The Stockton Tiger Powerlifters had a good day at the 2025 KEMFA STATE POWERLIFTING Meet. Isaac Thayer, Vincent Thayer, Zach Chandler, Kolt Kuhlmann, and Cason Iwanski all competed with Tiger Pride on Saturday. Freshman Kolt Kuhlmann earned his first powerlifting medal by placing 6th in clean with a clean of 125 lbs. Completing his Powerlifting career, Cason Iwanski takes his third State Title. Cason won bench with a 250lb lift. He took 2nd in squat lifting 365lbs. Cason was 1st in clean with a tie for the state record with a lift of 295lbs! This is also an SHS record! Kian Coffey has 3 state titles, 1 in 2016 and 2 in 2017. Joel McReynolds has one state title in 1992 and one in 1994. Kian and Joel collected their state titles in track. Cason Iwanski is possibly the only SHS athlete to ever win 3 State Titles in the same individual sport in 3 consecutive years. We are proud of our Tigers and their success! 🐅
