The HS choir will be singing the National Anthem at the FHSU games on Thursday. If you would like to attend the games, you can purchase tickets from Mrs. Riener and the choir will receive half of the ticket sales.
The men had their turn to grapple at the J.R Durham Invitational Tournament in Norton. They all fought hard today. Senior Emerson took 1st on the podium in the 157 weight class.

Carolina 1st and Ashlyn took 1st 🥇 in their weight classes! Tempe and Aidyen placed 4th in their respective weight classes. Ashlyn Hahn is a 4 Time Champion of the J.R. Durham Invitational! The whole team racked up enough points to take 6th out of 14 teams for the day!

Second grade received a pre-teaching lesson with Mrs. Bennett, library media specialist, and then practiced in class! They researched penguins on PebbleGo and practiced paraphrasing when writing! They love this database! #TigerPride271
Third grade is gaining proficiency in the use of “this, that, and articles” to improve their knowledge of language and the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing. Grammar is a component of our Into Reading resource that is adopted for grades K-5. #TigerPride271

Due to road conditions, school will begin on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, January 8th. All bus routes are canceled, including the noon preschool route. Please plan alternative transportation for your child.
