Just another group of kids striving to start the school year strong! Today, we played adding apples, teen number bingo, solved math mysteries, played connect four by rounding whole numbers and decimals, battled through the race to 500 with decimals, got stuck playing pickle decimals, AND we learned to multiply decimals. It was a busy day with lots of laughs! Also, we had 29 kids show up today! Maybe next week we will start graphing!

We had 25 mathematicians attend our summer fun at the district office. Our time consisted of building numbers, place value, and decimal operations. Lots of games were played and foundational skills were being built. I can't wait to see them all back again tomorrow! Shout out to Thelma Berland for the snacks! That definitely made their day!
*If you forgot to sign up, we'd love to have you!*

There are 20 students who signed up to multiply their success with Mrs. Armstrong. USD 271 has 189 K-8 students. What percent of USD 271 grade school students are missing the fun?
