Today Stockton had the opportunity to host an ACT prep class. Thank you to the Nova for allowing us to us the facilities. We were able to invite students from surrounding schools as well. This is the second year in a row that SHS has hosted this event.

Fifth grade participated in a Greg Tang live math lesson on Tuesday. "We spent 30 minutes with him while he reviewed various strategies to solve multiplication problems. My students thought it was awesome to be live with Greg and loved giving him feedback on the math problems. I love that his strategies focus on developing and reinforcing a deep understanding of number sense. We are looking forward to these monthly live lessons." (from Mrs. Dryden)

Please bring your mathematicians for a night of math games using cards and dice at the district office. Feel free to stay and learn some ideas for home. Our board meeting is that night and we are asking that your kids stay to say the pledge and share out their favorite math game. We will have it wrapped up by 5:35! All students are welcome. Our games will focus on math fluency with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ours younger learners will focus on number identification, counting, and number bonds!
